The refurbishment has been done very well, very modern. It’s excellent to have new self service machines to order food on and QR codes on the table. They now have bottomless soft drinks which is an added bonus for children and drivers. The carvery was very good. The staff were excellent as always! High recommend!!
Really lovely carvery. Beef was very tender, and the gammon was tasty (not salty!). A good selection of vegetables and particularly liked the roasted carrots, swede, and parsnips. Good cauliflower cheese, too! We happened to drop on this restaurant and were not disappointed. Will definitely call in again for food if passing. The waitress was very polite and helpful. A welcoming atmosphere.
We went to Clocktower on their second day of reopening and WOW! The place looks amazing! We ordered our main meals and drinks at the till then thought we would try the kiosks for our desserts. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the kiosks were to use and will be using them to order our food in future. We didn't have to wait long for our food to be brought out. It tasted great and was lovely and hot. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The singer was an added bonus, my little one loved having a little wiggle . Really was a great atmosphere. We look forward to going again.
Great improvement to Roast Dinners, Fast service. Fresh items brought out when asked. Restaurant well looked after and clean. Friendly staff.
Glad the clocktower is back open again. Superb Sunday Carvery, could not fault it at all, meats were lovely, large range of additional veg etc. looks really nice inside and out now too!!
Clocktower Carvery’s recent refurbishment has breathed fresh life into an already great family pub experience. With superb carvery classics, a dazzling dessert spread, and a stellar play area, it hits all the right notes. It’s a relaxed, fun, and flavoursome lunch or dinner out—with something for everyone, especially the kids.
Friendly helpful staff. Nice carvery meal apart from the gluten free yorkshire pudding who ever idea it was to change to that was definitely a bad 1. Sooner you go back to how they were originally the better.
driving past and decided to stop for a carvery. Came one the second day of them reopening after a revamp. Place is immaculate, staff so friendly & food is amazing. Great value for money and having live music made it even better evening. We will definitely be back!
